On 30th April 2018, when the drums were beating and an avid gathering was desperately waiting, the two gems of our school walked to their seats accompanied by the school staff. Everyone’s gaze was stuck at them. Children squealed with excitement. They were welcomed by presents and flowers and even with mingled feelings of joy and sorrow as we bid farewell to our exceptional teachers – MA’AM LATA AND MA’AM SHUKLA. The beginning of the function was marked by lamp lightning- the traditional auspicious ceremony of our school. This was succeeded by prayer service. We offered our prayers to God, for every blessing may fall on them. Then the stage was ruled by our charming dolls through their energetic dance performance. Songs gripped the hearts of the audience so much that one might cry. A captivating song by the students mesmerized the spectators. Children are always willing to express their feelings. Pavi Gupta of class IV B, Shloka Kabra and Chhavi Maheshwari of class VIII B did the task expressing their gratitude to the adorable teachers. Felicitation was next in the row. The decorated potted plants and gifts were presented to ma’am Lata and ma’am Shukla by Sister Helen and Sister Lavita respectively. The staff even praised the two radical teachers of our school. A marvelous dance performance followed the next. Everything has to come to an end, so did this programme. The principal’s message concluded the programme. Their assiduous works were praised and appreciated.
