LYNCHING IS AN INSULT TO HUMAN DIGNITY-ISHA TRIPATHI IX B
Lynching is a premeditated extra-judicial killing by a group. In this the people react and give punishment themselves to the guilty without any legal permission from the government. It is often used to characterize informal public executions by a mob in order to punish an alleged transgressor, or to intimidate a group. It is an extreme form of informal group social control.
In my opinion it should be considered an act of terrorism and punishable offence by law. Yes, it is an insult to human dignity because lynching makes several tough walls between all castes and religions. There have been different incidents of lynching in India recently where a mob killed a person in the name of punishment. Nobody can justify such acts of cruelty. Only the law and order of a country has the right to give justice to the victims. Lynching is actually killing of human right to live a life of freedom. Strict actions should be taken to stop such incidents.
