A good leader does not work on the concept of ‘I’ but works and encourages to work on the concept of ‘WE’. To appoint the leaders, on May 2nd we had the Installation Ceremony of the School Cabinet for the year 2018-19. The students were provided with an opportunity to nurture a sense of responsibility in the School Campus. The programme initiated with the welcoming of the council headed by the Principal, Sister Helen and Vice Principal, Sister Anisha leading the torch bearers to uphold the value of the Alma Mater, Sophia Girls’ Sr. Sec. School, Bhilwara.
According to our tradition, we began our programme with lamp lightining. We prayed that the radiance of God shines upon them to share the light, assisting others to achieve the goals laid down by the institution. We offered our petitions and prayers to the Lord asking the Almighty to grant wisdom. The programme then proceeded with the Oath Ceremony leading the Head Girl to take the oath to fulfill the duties assigned to her with full dedication and determination. It was further followed by the office bearers taking oath to be enthusiastic, loyal, zealous and impartial. The programme descended by pining on the badges and sashes to the office bearers by various teachers. Advancing further, the office bearers lighted the candles as a symbol of knowledge and tranquility. The ceremony then approached to a speech by the Head Girl, Komal Joshi, expressing her commitment towards the institution. Then the Secretory, Harshita Soni expressed her gratitude and delivered The Vote of Thanks. At the end the Principal’s inspirational words enlightened and motivated all of us. She guided the young leaders who have been entrusted with great responsibility. The programme concluded with the Sophia Anthem.
