Expressions of daughters showcased a touching moment, leading into a lively dance performance by class 7th. A unique game added a playful touch. A heart touching message from respected Principal Sister Cynthia added a personal touch to the occasion. Cyber quiz was conducted on 13 December by the members of  Cyber club. This quiz was conducted house-wise for classes VI to IX.It was very informative for the students and the participants were filled with enthusiasm. The quiz was held in five informative rounds. To celebrate the 152nd Birth Anniversary and magnificence of the ‘Man of Wisdom’ who served as a Missionary and Visionary-The Founder of MSA Congregation Rt. Rev. Bishop Fortunatus Henri Caumont, a special assembly was conducted by Class 11th students. Tribute to Father Founder was paid by offering flowers and garlanding his photo. This was followed by seeking of God’s blessings with prayer service and hymn. Honourable Vice Principal, Sr. Ignasia was then requested to enlighten all the students about the journey of Father Founder. The morning celebration came to a close with the Sophia Anthem. The Annual Sports Meet at Sophia Girls Sr. Sec. School was a resounding success, with students participating enthusiastically and displaying great zeal throughout the event. The Chief GuestMr.Rakesh Pathak,Chairman of Nagar Parishad and the Guest of Honour Mr.Shantilal Jain were accorded a warm welcome by the Principal and staff members. The programme commenced with the prayer service and a devotional prayer  dance which was performed by the students of classes IX and XI. Thestudents were overwhelmed on witnessing the energetic participation of their house students in various games and sports events. The participantsgave their cent percent  in events ranging from track and field to traditional sports, creating an atmosphere of friendly competition. Many events like sack race, frog race and many such attractive games were organised for tiny tots of Nur and KG. Other  games and sports included races,relay race, slow cycling, long jump, high jump, Kabaddi, Kho – kho, badminton etc The students of classes III to V performed aerobics andVI to VIII performed drill . The true sign of civilization is cleanliness. The NCC cadets of our school rallied from our school to Gulab circle . Cadets held banners  to spread the message of cleanliness. All of them participated with full enthusiasm , rallying and raising consciousness among people to keep their surroundings clean . Diwali celebration and Children’s day the most awaited days in a child’s life were organised on 7th November 2023 . Diwali is a festival of lights hence, we started our program by lighting diya and solemn prayer service. Teachers sang song for their adorable children.Skitswere also performed by students which symbolised true friendship and family bonds . The programme was followed by enthusiastic dance performance by the  teachers . On 5th of September teachers’ day was celebrated to show love towards our dear teachers who work hard to mould us.  The cultural program was put up under the guidance of our respected Sisters . As it is rightly said “Health is Wealth”. To promote awareness on this topic Dr Poonam Yadav joined us on 8th September to conduct an interactive session on health and hygiene for classes 6th to 10th. She reflected her profound knowledge on the topic and highlighted how important it is to be fit and healthy. She explained the students about menstrual cycle, it’s problems and exercises to overcome the pain and shared her knowledge how the menstruation starts between the age of 9-13, its 4 stages, and the common problems faced by women such as cramps, back pain, fatigue or weakness etc. She also taught students some of the exercises to reduce this pain such as yoga, stretching and many more. It was an insightful experience to listen to her and learn about an important topic related to our health. The session ended with the vote of thanks to Dr. Poonam for giving her valuable time to the students.  Another session was held on Menstrual hygiene by consultant gynaecologist Dr.Swati Gaur on 29th Sept 23,in which she made the students aware about  hygiene and  nutrition especially during menstruation.
